- Department & Supervisor
You will work as part of a small team of experts, and will report directly to Business Unit Directors Metal & Manufacturing as well as the Managing Consultants responsible for the different teams - Location
This role is based in Quintiq’s Headquarters at ‘s-Hertogenbosch, but you will be expected to work with colleagues around the world. Some domestic and international travel to and from customer sites and Quintiq offices is required. - Type of Employment

Responsibilities
- Form a vision for the APS needs of customers.
- Document the conceptual, logical and technical architecture for the project.
- Become the sparring partner for the planning department of the customer for all their planning challenges.
- Implement cutting edge industry solutions for challenging customer problems.
- Take ownership of your solution, and be functionally responsible within the implementation team.
- Gather clear customer requirements within the project scope.
- Define and execute clear tests of your designed solutions.
- Train customers in the use of their new APS solutions.
- Form a long-lasting working relationship with the customer.
Job Requirements
- An MSc or PhD in a quantitative field e.g. computer science, operations research, industrial engineering, computational engineering, mathematics or physics.
- Experience in object-oriented modeling, optimization techniques, project work and enterprise IT systems.
- Operational and project implementation knowledge.
- Experience in documenting processes and creating process diagrams.
- The ability to listen to customers, and design the best possible solution for their particular challenge.
- An excellent command of Dutch and English (A good command of German would be a bonus.).
